Event Planned By Irei: National Monument for the WWII Japanese American Incarceration

The Irei: National Monument for the WWII Japanese American Incarceration, a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to memorializing people of Japanese ancestry incarcerated during World War II, is taking the Ireichō on a national tour, which includes a stop in Honolulu in April 2026. Visitors are invited to make an appointment to honor their family members in the book with a blue hanko stamp.
